Ben-efit Of The Doubt

Tomorrow afternoon marks the return of Ben Roethlisberger  to the Pittsburgh Steelers and the NFL, and the world will be watching.  Will he be booed? Or will he receive cheers of welcome as he returns to drive the Steelers to 4-1?  One thing is for sure, there will probably be some of both. The bigger question, is how will it effect him?  Personally I feel if he’s made/making the necessary changes to be a better person it won’t bother him at all. In fact I think he would embrace the boos as a challenge to prove himself even more.

I for one think people deserve a second chance. Yes he made stupid choices,, yes he was a target, and no we don’t know exactly what happened that night at the bar. I’m willing to back him, and by all mean hope that he truly has changed.  Pittsburgh needs him to step up and be the leader he can be.  I think it would be the ultimate comeback story for him to return and lead the Steelers through the Playoffs and to a Super Bowl win.

So having said that, now on to tomorrow’s game.

Steelers Vs. Browns, 1PM EST @ Heinz Field

This game should be a blow out. Big Ben should have a great game, hitting deep threats, Ward, Wallace, and El several times for a few touchdowns.  The defense will welcome Colt McCoy to the NFL, promptly introduce him to the turf, and pick him off more than an immigrant pulls fruit of a tree.

I’m going to call this one 28-6 Steelers.
